A few days or weeks of arrival in French concession of the first examples of hybrid coupe BMW, I offer a small mechanical-acoustic session aboard the i8.
The video is not long but it is not to discover the engine sound of this coupe to accelerate from 0 to 130 km / h. Some had concerns because the thermal block of the self is a three cylinder in-line and end the Munich manufacturer seems to have worked well enough to offer a more sporty sound for this engine 1500 cm3.
Of course this is not the sound of a thermal L6 or even that of a sports L4 brand but we experienced much worse among the L3 and L4 even.
